Not too many friends.
And it's not that folks won't spill,

I've tried some patience.
Misused some trust.
If you wanna shoot the breeze,
I'll blow you over with a gust.

We all got problems,
Another monkey on the back.
I ain't hooked on speed or weed,
Booze or blow, smack or crack.
No Texas Holdem,
I don't go to the track.
But I'd backstab my best friend,
To get the new girl in the sack.

I love home cooking,
I'm the consummate host.
When I dip bread in egg and fry it,
It's called French Toast.
I don't know who coined that,
But it's all the same.
Just 'cause you don't like the Frogs,
Don't mean you get to change the name.

We're up in arms over freedom,
I keep hearing 'bout hate.
Another couple of good American inventions,
The world don't appreciate.
They're all complaining,
About how we choose to play.
But I figure if you own it,
It's yours to piss away.
